Pilya!Basta Cuisine is a tiny food kiosk but big on flavors!
Pilya! opened its doors last 2017. It serves modern Filipino food and Asian Fusion. It was conceptualized by Elaine Gomez who is a self-trained chef and has a passion for cooking and plating food like art work. Stop by, as you may still sometimes see her in the kitchen.
There is no one cuisine that influences the chef aside from Filipino cooking and whatever comes to her mind… thus the term “basta” cuisine. One thing we can guarantee, the food is delicious!
We are located inside Uptown In, a row of food kiosks that serve different flavors of Asia. Our neighbors offer Japanese food such as sushi, sashimi, and ramen; Chinese food and snacks such as dumplings and hot and sour soup; Korean street food, burgers and fries, fresh fruit shakes and Korean ice cream, bingsu, for dessert. We all share common tables and chairs. We may be the best place to visit for the undecided!
