Pilya! Basta Cuisine first started in the bustling tourist town of Alona Beach in 2017. It was first located in the center of the busy little beach at Alona Uptown In, together with other kiosks serving different cuisines. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, the tourism industry collapsed and forcing Chef Elaine and partner to rethink how to keep the tiny food stall serving delicious meals. The opportunity came when the new food park opened in the capital of Bohol, Tagbilaran City.
